Back to Blogging

Whew! It’s been a full two really busy weeks and I am soooo glad it is finally over.
Warren and I finally got our routines back, except for a minor change brought about by Bruce’s adoption, and we are so thankful that in the midst of all that chaos we still did not forget to open our Bibles and pray. Now that things are quieter, we are even happier because we get more time to spend for our daily devotionals and since Warren is planning to hold Bible Studies here at home, he is also spending more time doing his studies which gives him more time to learn God’s Word and minister to me.
I’d say that the past two weeks have been a blessing to us both. We just realized what a large mission field we have here and this realization brought us to getting our gears sharper and better than before. It is also rewarding to see my family come together to welcome Warren into the clan. I am also delighted with how my husband responds to everyone in the family and even more delighted at the fact that between the stressful situations we both encounter, the culture shock he has to deal with and the sudden shifts in routines, we still manage to have a healthy, loving, forgiving, patient and Christ-centered relationship.
So now, I (and hopefully, Warren too) am back to blogging. I cannot wait to sit and share with everyone about everything that we go through and how God continues to provide for us – spiritually, physically, psychologically and yes, even financially. I am also very excited to start writing about what I learn from my daily devotionals courtesy of Drawing Near by John MacArthur, a book given to me by Sis. Vangie two Sundays ago. I also need to update you all with my reading of John Mac’s The Love of God. Ahhhhh, the list is pretty endless… I haven’t even started talking about our Bruce yet, as well.
Gee, I am so excited to start filling you all in but first, I would like to thank those who said their prayers, Warren and I thank you so much and for those who offered to help us with our “great big move”, you certainly made us feel so loved
.
