Blogging Truths in a Deceptive World

Preaching the Same Word

but we’re getting different responses
and based on our experiences
there are only 2 kinds of responses
its either a yes or a no
and we didn’t add or subtract to our messages
its just the same content
nor do we believe that it depends on the listener’s moods

- – -
some Christians would be conscious on how he shares the gospel to others
- – -
why did they reject the gospel I’m preaching?
did I say the right words?
did I lacked the training?
did I lacked study?
was it unclear?
was I too offensive?
I’m still a newborn Christian, perhaps thats the reason why I can’t convince my loved ones
if I had pointed this certain scripture, I could’ve made my friend convinced

- – -
why did they accept the gospel I’m preaching?
was it because I studied enough?
was it because I put a little drama to it?
was it because I read a certain book?
was it because I came from a respectable school?
- – -
no
preaching of the Word is not dependent on man’s efforts
“that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. ” 1 Cor 2:5
Jesus taught on the parable of the soils (Mt 13)
that there are 4 kinds of soils
and only 1 of them will accept the seed
and the seed is the Word of God
if you are a Christian, you have the seed in you
and all you need to do is sow the seed given to you
if you are wondering why you can’t sow seeds
then most likely you don’t have the seed in you in the first place
how can you sow seeds when you don’t have the seed in you then?
how can you lead people to Christ when you yourself haven’t experienced the forgiveness of God?
the Christian doesn’t need training to sow seeds
if the Christian has the seed in him, it is inevitable that he will sow around
you don’t have to be a “spiritual warrior” to sow seeds
you don’t have to be a trained pastor to sow seeds
all you need is the seed to sow the seed
all you need is the Word of God to sow the Word of God
and when you sow the Word of God, then it will fall on the 4 kinds of soils
should the Christian then be disappointed when the seed fell on the road, or on the stony soil, or on the weedy soil?
should the Christian then be disappointed if the person you are reaching out to flatly rejects the Gospel?
if you’re answer is yes, then you are saying that there must be something wrong in God’s Words
there will be grief yes
grief for their souls
but never be disappointed with the Word of God
because
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. ” Romans 1:16
