Prayer Meeting

last night we started our official prayer meeting in our home
this, Lord willing, will be held regularly during wednesday evenings
this just came into mind yesterday while I was doing my study
I felt hunger for the Word
so hungry that I popped a command in the house
we will have Bible study tonight right after dinner
and so we did
also Hazel and I agreed to do a prayer meeting as well since that was the original practice of our church while we still lived in Manila
for our Bible study, I chose a topic at random thought
and it went well by God’s grace

before when I was still a professing Christian
I used to feel lazy attending extra meetings such as prayer meetings
this was like a senseless chore to me
but now we did it out of desperate need of God’s words
I realized that attending Church is not something that we HAVE to do
no
but it is something that a Christian CANNOT avoid to do
