After His Own Heart

Blogging Truths in a Deceptive World

Two week wait

We are now on our two week wait and this would have to be the longest two weeks of our lives, yet.
The final result of my tests with the fertility specialist came out well. I ovulated and the eggs ruptured, plus the lining of my uterus thickened which means that if I am pregnant, then the baby has a good hold in there.

It is really too early to tell as of yet, but we are hoping for the best and preparing our hearts for the worst as well. The doctor sounded positive with the final results but like she said, we have to wait for the 20th of the month to get a more solid confirmation.

This is the result of the follicle monitoring. My left and right ovaries both show that they are ovulating, but the left one looks more about to burst than the right one.

This is the result of the last transvaginal. It shows that the egg ruptured and that there is a good chance for me to get pregnant since we followed the doctor’s orders. The timing, the fertility pills and the monitoring all were in perfect harmony with each other. We just have to know if it all worked to result into a baby on the way.

Dear brethren, we continue to request for your prayers for our Lord to prepare our hearts and minds for whatever is to come in the next two weeks, and if it is His will, in the next nine months. May the desires of our hearts be His desire for us also.
