Blogging Truths in a Deceptive World

Why Man Can Never Understand the Word of God

Written by Warren |Posted on September 27, 2008 | Comments

a person cannot understand the Words of God even by his/her own efforts. even if you read the whole Bible is no guarantee that what you understood is really the correct one.

many people think the Bible is really confusing. theyre right! its almost impossible for a man to understand. and to be frank. you cannot understand. not only can you not understand. its impossible for you to understand. and im not saying because you lack Phds or something. im saying with man’s capabilities, they can never understand the meaning of the Word of God.

how then can we understand?

when Jesus’ disciples were asking why in the world would He preach in parables? after the crowd were scratching their heads frustrated. thinking of how can this teaching be related to me? it doesnt make sense at all. and this was Jesus reply:
“to you it has been granted to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God, but to the rest it is in parables, so that SEEING THEY MAY NOT SEE, AND HEARING THEY MAY NOT UNDERSTAND.” Luke 8:10

so heres the Truth that Bo Sanchez cant tell you: the reason why you cant understand, is because God has not granted you to understand. that is why Jesus is saying “seek and you shall find…”(mt 7:7) you might say “well ive been searching. ive been searching all my life. and yet i still cant find it.”

but the Scripture said that “no one is seeking after God…not even one” (romans 3:10-11). and you might be saying that you are looking for Him. but what is your basis that even your looking for Him is really how the Scriptures described it? you don’t even know what “seeking” really means.

I have been seeking after God with my whole heart for years
with this feeling I have, I determined how to find Him

BUT, the Bible says that the heart is “deceitful above all things” (Jer 18:7). What makes you so sure that what you can only accomplish is by the effort of your heart? who taught us the phrase “follow your heart”? where in the Bible can we find that? the Bible says “follow Jesus” and that would mean not following “your heart” or your feelings or your gut feelings.

the main reason why man cannot understand the Word of God is because of SIN

sin in Adam’s time separated them with God. and that is why we suffer the same consequence. because of sin, we cannot understand God. our definitions have become twisted. that is why the Bible says “no one is righteous, no not even one.” not even your grand-daddy, not even your pope, not even gandhi times a million! not even st.Paul, not even st. John, not even st. Peter, not even Abraham. no not one! there is absolutely no one righteous. and that is the reason why we cannot understand the languages of God.

remember sometimes when we were kids. we were uttering things we do not know. like a foreign language. and when a foreigner would happen to hear what we just said, he would react negatively and explain to us what it really meant. and so we understood that the supposed funny word is actually offending to the people who use or understand this language.

same thing with God. we are on His creation: the world. the word “love” that we used to know from hollywood or books is different from the description from the Bible. and thats just one word. what about the others. theres myriads of them. so how can you, as a non-Christian, pray to God if you are using your own definitions. which is the twisted version that Satan taught us. how can you say “God bless you” when you dont know the meaning of “bless”? those are the languages that a normal Christian use and understand. so with that language barrier, it has separated us from the Almighty God.

the Bible says that God doesnt listen to the prayers of the wicked.

“When you spread out your hands in prayer,
I will hide my eyes from you;
even if you offer many prayers,
I will not listen.
Your hands are full of blood; ”
Isaiah 1:15

God has a language that only His people can understand. and these people are the Christians.

this is why we call Him God to begin with. because He is GOD to us and not the other way around. He rules over us, not us over Him. we worship Him and not He worships us. it is He whom we serve, not He serves us. He deserves all the glory.

lets twist the definitions shall we?
it is US whom God is serving, not He serves us. We rule HIM , not HIM over us. He worships us and not us worshipping Him. because WE are GOD to him and not the other way around. we deserve all the glory. all the praises. we deserve to be wealthy. we deserve to live a convenient life. this is why we are called GOD to begin with. sounds familiar? ofcourse it does. because this is the gospel of the world. and not the GOSPEL OF GOD. this is what Satan said to Eve “you will be like God!” when he tempted her in the garden. this is what people like Bo Sanchez is preaching.they are deceiving and being deceived. in attempt to please man instead of God. with this myriads of guirella efforts, it makes it even more impossible for man to understand the Word of God.
