Evolution is Accidental, So Why Should I Listen to It?

Written by Warren |Posted on October 1, 2008 | Comments

“If the solar system was brought about an accidental collision, then the appearance of organic life on this planet was also an accident and the whole evolution of man was also an accident. If so, then all our present thoughts are accidents. The accidental byproduct of the movement of atoms, this holds for the thoughts of the materialists and astronomers as well as for everybody else. But if their thoughts are merely accidents, why should we believe any of them? I see no reason…for believing that one accident should be able to give me a correct account of all the other accidents.” C.S. Lewis

this quote taken from John MacArthur’s message on creation Day 4

deny it or not
the doctrine of evolution requires faith
which evolutionists deny and say
what is your proof that God exists?
they would exclaim that the earth was formed from a so and so particle that exploded millions of years ago
so what caused that explosion?
while this particle was nearing a certain heat it ignited that explosion…
who created that heat?
what caused it to move?
who started it all?
therefore, evolution in itself is a practice of faith in which they would contradict themselves saying they don’t believe in such
