Belated Christmas greetings everyone! So, where was everybody on Christmas?
As for Warren and I, we had a blast! Remember the gift cheque we received from my bestfriend? We finally got around to using it. We checked in at Holiday Inn Clark yesterday for that much needed and prayed for break from the humdrum of everyday life. We got there at close to two in the afternoon and we decided to just hang around inside our suite, we were supposed to go swimming but the pool was busy and well, the water was already kindda murky so we went back inside and just lay around the room watching tv. TV! Oh, how we missed watching tv! Lol! Who would have thought that we ever would?
At around five in the afternoon, both of us decided to walk around and take pictures. Here are some of them:

Anyway, we were supposed to have buffet dinner in one of the hotel’s restaurants but when we checked the prices, we decided to just look for other options outside the hotel grounds. You see, P999.00 per head for a buffet dinner isn’t practical, besides, dinner’s supposed to be light and easy. So we walked a few meters outside Mimosa grounds and here’s what we found:

Upon checking out their menu prices, we decided to stay. We ordered our dinner and for the first time in months, Warren and I had a chance to just sit back, be a couple and actually have a dinner date. It was a quiet, peaceful evening topped with good conversation and from out of the blue, someone decided to order one glass of cocktail!

It was just Tequila Sunrise – orange juice and tequila - but it was enough to drive my husband goofy! Check out how much fun I HAD.

Nope, dear ones, he did not get drunk. It was just ONE glass and we SHARED, but boy what it did to Warren’s nerves! Lol! But here is my most favorite of his pictures:

And his most decent snapshot for the night?

Well, that was our first Christmas together as Mister and Missus. We hope to spend more Christmases together filled with life, laughter and love. Merry Christmas everyone!
