The Authors
I want to tell you, the best marriage is nothing more than two sinners continually humbling themselves and knowing how to get to the cross and find the grace of God. The best marriage does not come easily and does not happen apart from the cross. – Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Revive Our Hearts Ministries
After His Own Heart is a collaboration of written expressions, studies and understanding of the written Scriptures of its authors, Mr. and Mrs. Warren and Hazel Chua.
Believers, disciples, servants, spouse to each other, a son and a daughter, a brother and a sister, friends and colleagues in that order.
Warren – A dutiful and faithful student of God’s word who believes that Christianity knows no race, tradition or culture. He has a heart for missions and a deep love for the ministry of Christ. Currently, he is working as a telecommuter and regularly speaks in home bible studies. Aside from this blog ministry, Warren also visits Christian homes, particularly of the widowed and the elderly, to reach out and discuss the Word with them . Warren loves the outdoors and is into arts – photography and drawing, in particular.
Hazel – Very much a work in progress still, she is a housewife who likes to listen to Christian audio materials on Biblical Womanhood, enjoys cooking, spends her spare time reading and just loves ministering alongside her husband. A self-confessed techie, Hazel is also into social networking and uses Twitter, Facebook, Plurk and the likes to spread the Word of God.

Two imperfect people living in an equally imperfect world, only by God’s grace that they somehow were made perfect for each other.
They live in a tiny apartment somewhere in San Fernando, Pampanga with their pet Persian and Himalayan cats, Missy, Calvin and Coco.
Update as of 01/17/2010:
On October 26, 2009, we welco
med into our lives Thomas Gershom Chua, a little boy whom we adopted from the Department of Social Welfare and Development. Tommy is growing healthy, happy and very much loved. Our prayer is for him to grow up in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. You can visit our adoption blog at Zoe Grapho for more details of our adoption journey as well as funny, heartwarming Tommy-stories.
We also moved from our tiny apartment to our first ever home in Brgy. San Rafael, Mexico, Pampanga. Through our journeys – from being husband and wife, ministers, bond servants, parents and so on – we areĀ also blessed with the untiring, selfless and loyal service of a sister in Christ, Emma. We don’t have Missy and Calvin anymore, but we still have Coco.
“… and they shall become one flesh…” – excerpt from Genesis 2:24
